Noida Pet-Roll Carnival: 250 Dogs from 35 Breeds to Walk the Ramp on February 9
Dog and cat lovers are in for a delightful experience! The Noida Authority is set to host the Pet-Roll Carnival on February 9, featuring a Dog and Cat Ramp Walk Show with participants from across the country and beyond. The event will take place at Shilp Haat Ground in Sector 33A, with free registration and entry.
The carnival will be judged by three international experts who will evaluate various dog competitions. All dog and cat owners are encouraged to join the celebration. Sanjay Khatri, CEO of Noida Authority, announced Wednesday. The event will run from 10 AM to 9 PM, and participants can register their pets for the competition at www.pet-roll.com.
Competition Categories
Dogs will be divided into over 35 different breeds at the Noida Pet Roll Carnival, with a special fashion show where pets can showcase their style. Competitions such as Best Lady Dog Handler, Best Child Dog Handler, Pet Grooming, and Training will also be available for participants aged 14 to 18.
Adoption Drive, Food Stalls & Entertainment
The evening will feature performances by musical bands and DJs. Ten food stalls will offer a variety of food, while booths will sell premium dog foods, accessories, clothing, and treats. The event will also host a pet adoption drive in collaboration with leading NGOs, providing an opportunity for on-the-spot adoptions.
In addition to the carnival, Noida is also expanding its silent zones to combat noise pollution. The city is enhancing existing zones and creating new ones in residential areas, schools, hospitals, and other sensitive locations, along with stricter noise regulations and public awareness campaigns to reduce traffic noise and improve compliance with decibel limits, aiming to create a quieter and healthier environment for residents.
