Raghuram 25 years old is a resident of hyderabad challenging society for stray dogs and dedicating himself for the welfare of dogs. Raghuram is taking care of 72 stray dogs. Raghuram works as a network engineer and has developed his love for animals from a young age and uses his free time in animal rescue operations.
From covid raghuram passion and love towards animals forced him to leave his job and now works as a freelancer network engineer and look after the animals and rescue operations. Raghuram provides food, shelter for stray dogs and also educates people about stray dogs and solving negative perceptions. He provides proper nutrition, medical care for dogs which costs one and half lakh per month.
Raghuram and his friends leased a space in the industrial area to establish Jeeva Vatsalya Rescue Rehabilitation Center for all the dogs. The center currently provides shelter for 80-90 dogs as Raghuram says that people should also be educated about dog behavior which helps in decreasing dog bites. Sterilization procedures are conducted for dogs and released back to the city.
Raghuram educates people and suggests they adopt stray dogs and treat them in a better way. In a metropolitan city like Hyderabad it is a major issue of stray dogs, dog bites and also expresses his readiness to collaborate with GHMC to control the stray dog population. Raghuram’s dedication gave him a lot of appraisal and seeks the support of donors to further his mission.
