India’s Dog Father Rakesh Shukla shows his good heart by saving more than 8000 dogs.
Rakesh Shukla was a founder and CEO of the Writer’s block and runs telecom content companies like IBM, Toyota and more big clients. Rakesh Shukla Who inspires everyone to get over their failure, a TedX speaker now stands as an inspiration again by rescuing dogs and rehabilitation centers for dogs. Raksh shukla is called as the biggest rescuer of the dogs and Dog father of india for his services of dogs. He lives in Bengaluru with a very unique sanctuary in the outskirts of bengaluru with 800 rescued dogs.
Rakesh shukla’s first rescue was on the streets of bengaluru named lucky. This incident led him to rescue dogs and in the upcoming 2 years he rescued about 250 dogs. In 2012 a girl named Sandhya picked up a paralyzed dog behind the HAL Military airport. After rescuing bengaluru oldest dog shelter said that the not will no be recovered, as the dog’s spinal cord is totally damaged. Shulka was informed about that dog and he couldn’t find any place that night to keep that dog so he finally took the dog to his office, and bengaluru’s vet declared that the cookie was paralyzed out of danger. Shukla decided to make a cart of wheels for her, As going on attempts on the 4 attempt cookie started using wheels. After all this cookie passed away due to uterus infection, there were no symptoms of diseases after letting know then the usage of antibiotics couldn;t save her.
Shukla decided to start a good medical care for the health of dogs that made the birth of VOSD( Voice of stray dogs) with 3 members of staff and one van. Then VOSD grew as a biggest no-kill dog sanctuary and rescue center with 25,000 art free treatments and residents of 800 dogs. At a place of 3.5 acres all the dogs will be kept free with all the required resources. It serves as home for many of the rescuers from various cities like pune, Mumbai, bengaluru and other cities. Various retired dogs from karnataka police will live at VOSD Sanctuary. VOSD consists of various pet cares 24/7 and veterinarians. All the dogs will be taken care of medication, check ups and flea treatments on average of 2000 in spent on every dog per month including nutrition and treatment. A medical facility is also constructed about2500 sq.fts with a basic surgery unit,2 outpatient departments, anesthesia suppliers and all medications.

VOSD is planning one of the best [et care with all the required high quality equipment and modern diagnostic clinic. 30 kernels will be provided with 30 kennels for care and recovery, for aging dogs hydrotherapy pool has been proposed.
