Dog park access requires pet-registration

Noida authority said that only registered pets will be allowed into the dog park in sector 137 and a neat plan to manage the site. A dog park was developed beside the metro station and was inaugurated in June 2023, as it was one of the city attractions. Pet parents should show the registered form for the allow of their pet into the park.

Recently Noida authority CEO Lokesh had a visit to the park and decided to hire an agency for the maintenance and infrastructure of the park. Registration process of the dog helps to get to know more about their vaccinations, health conditions and more. Authority will get a clear view of the pets and vaccinated pets will be allowed to interact with pets and pet parents. Hired agency will know about the number of pets, various breeds and date of their vaccination through the registered app. There are 6000 pets registered till november 2023.

There are many conflicts between pet parents and gated residents on the issue of dog attacks, dog bites and more. As this also serves as one of the reasons for pet vaccination, registration. AWBI has advised pet parents to keep their pet indoors as RWA could not follow them. In respect there is a complaint to not to raise any fines towards pet parents for dog attacks.

Anubav, as a pet parent, said that a dog park is one of the best ideas in the rapidly growing areas, as it is not easy to take dogs outdoors in public areas. Noida authority officials said that the agency will be hired and take care of all the management and revenue will be shared from a fixed annual license-fee.
