How the Hero Pet Dog Protected Its Family

This happened in the small town of Takkalai, where Gayathri is living with her husband Vikeshki, their two children, and Gayathri’s mother Padmakumari. They had a pet dog named Chinchan, aged 2 years, who was very loyal and affectionate.

Padmakumari, while sitting behind her house in the evening, saw a cobra that was about 7 feet long near her.

Chinchan heard her screams and immediately came running towards the snake and attacked it for the safety of the family. In the intense battle, the cobra bit the dog. Although the snake bit Chinchan, he kept fighting until he tore the snake into pieces and killed it.
