If one’s favorite bed were to be snatched away from him, how does he react? Dog Friendship took an adorable turn when kindhearted rescue dog Cactus found his foster puppy, Cowboy, curled up in his comfy donut bed. Instead of pushing the tiny puppy away, Cactus chose to share his bed with Cowboy.

Dog Friendship Shows Patience and Kindness

Cactus lives with his human, Michael, who takes care of the foster dogs. When Cowboy, one of the foster puppies, got cozy in Cactus’s bed, the rescue dog was at first uncertain about the whole situation.

In a video shared by the Instagram account @cactustherescue, Michael noticed Cactus watching his tiny guest. He encouraged Cactus to return to his bed. At first, Cactus hesitated. He slowly placed his front paws inside before finally climbing into the bed.

Rather than pushing Cowboy away, Cactus carefully settled beside the puppy.

Cactus Chooses Sharing Over Leaving

The sweetest moment in the video was when Cactus acknowledged the presence of Cowboy. A small, nervous yawn indicated that the larger dog was still getting used to it, but he kept his cool.

Cowboy, on the other hand, seemed perfectly at ease. The little puppy carried on enjoying his comfortable position with Cactus making space next to him.

Once the video had a question as to whether they would cozy up to each other. It didn’t take long to find out that this happened.

This was especially true for Cowboy, who actually began to play with his big friend. Cactus even began to turn back and see how his baby was doing.
