His recent act of rescuing 90 dogs from a dog meat farm in South Korea during the 2018 Winter Olympics garnered widespread attention in the headlines.

Gus Kenworthy was an American freestyle skier who recently visited a dog meat farm and rescued more than 90 dogs. In 2014, when Gus found two puppies near olympics ground it took him a long process to take them to america.

He posted on instagram that Gus and his friend visited 17,000 dog farms and said that there are 2.5 million dogs with no proper food , shelter and more. He personally says that eating dogs in a part of Korean culture is the most disturbing content. The way how the dogs are treated is totally inhumane.

Together with his boy friend Matt decided to adopt all the dogs and said that he had adopted a little puppy and will be coming to the US after completion of vaccinations in the upcoming couple of weeks. Matt says that 90 other dogs are taken from the facility to Us and Canada with the help of Humane Society international. Gus helps in spreading awareness on adoption and saving pupps, and raises a complaint of stop eating dogs even if it is their belief.
