Fun turns into a terrible experience within seconds for a curious dog.  Cookie, a six-year-old Cavapoo from Gosport, Hampshire, had just that amount of time to learn the consequences of chasing a fox. He found himself stuck head-first in a breeze block placed in his family’s garden. The little dog was too scared to get himself out of there but managed to get some help.

The firefighters chiseled away on the breeze block, making several cuts. Slowly, the concrete started crumbling, providing enough room for Cookie to escape.

Cookie Finally Finds Freedom

Cookie was eventually released from the block after such a careful procedure. The scared dog quickly managed to stand on all four legs.

It was a very emotional experience for all those involved in this rescue operation. Having been saved from such a distressful experience, Cookie could lead his usual life.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service described it in a perfect way when saying that Cookie “proved that he is one tough cookie.”
