Loyal Pet Dog Dies Beside Owner’s Funeral in Madhya Pradesh

The story of a loyal pet dog in Betul, Madhya Pradesh, has touched hearts across the country. The loyal pet dog, Duggu, shared an extraordinary bond with his owner, Pradeep Jain, and followed his funeral procession moments before passing away himself.

Pradeep Jain, 67, a resident of Betul’s Civil Lines area, died while undergoing treatment at AIIMS Bhopal after a prolonged illness. When his body was brought home, family members, relatives, and neighbors came together to offer their final respects. Among them was Duggu, the dog who’d stayed near Pradeep’s side for almost 15 years.

Duggu Knew Something Was Wrong

Duggu felt that his lifelong companion had left his body as soon as Pradeep’s body was brought in. He cried, whined, and made several attempts to get to his owner’s body. The family was worried that the dog would be upset by the death, so they separated him for a while so he could be in another room.
