Pawsomeland Foundation in Bhopal is home to hundreds of abandoned, injured, and helpless animals. Animals that have been hurt, neglected, starved, or abandoned will find a haven at the shelter. Rising river water is now posing a serious problem for the foundation as it is coming directly towards the premises of the shelter. The only safe home these animals have could be destroyed if the water is not controlled soon and the flood reaches the shelter.
The situation is so dire that action is needed immediately. The shelter doesn’t have another place to move the rescued animals without endangering them. It is extremely difficult to move hundreds of these vulnerable animals – injured and disabled ones in particular – without proper arrangements.
Urgent Construction Needed to Protect Shelter Land
Promptly relocating the river flow away from the land is needed to keep the river water from flowing into the shelter area. This precautionary measure can contribute to protecting and saving hundreds of animals that rely on this shelter.
This is a challenging period for the foundation that requires support to do the job right and keep supporting rescued animals.
