What We Do

The AASRA activities center on four main pillars, and they are Rescue, Shelter, Medical Care and Ecosystem Protection.

Animal Rescue (Stray Animals Rescue Operations):

AASRA also takes calls every day relating to distressed animals. The rescue personnel act in a humane and rushed manner to make sure that no animal is abandoned.

Animal Shelter:

The shelter provides a safe place for rescued animals. In this case, they are cared for, restored and provided an opportunity to recover, physically and emotionally, and then adopted and fostered to permanent loving homes through AASRA adoption and foster programs.

Medical Care:

AASRA collaborates with licensed veterinarians to help and supply the essential medical care, vaccination, and surgery to the needy animals. Every life that has been saved is a testament to the uncompromising nature of the organization.

Ecosystem Initiatives Beyond Stray Animals Rescue:

In addition to the direct animal care, AASRA has an extreme dedication to environmental welfare. It promotes communities preserving natural habitats and ensuring sustainable co-existence, through learning impulses and sensitization efforts.

Moreover, AASRA partnered with GHMC to organize the Water Bowl Distribution Drive at KBR Park, one of its latest projects that helped keep stray animals hydrated during Hyderabad’s hot summer. Such little things have an impact that builds waves of generosity that motivate others.
